METAL PLATE ROOFING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sheathing roof board from matching fire even when its surface side burns by fire spread during a fire by forming roofing material by fixing heat insulation incombustible material on the rear surface of a resin- coated metal plate. SOLUTION: A metal plate roofing material is formed by affixing via an adhesive a rock wool-formed plate being heat insulation incombustible material having a thickness of, e.g. 15 mm on the rear surface of a vinyl acetate resin- laminated steel plate having no coating in its rear surface; subsequently, this is placed on a sheathing roof board being inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the horizontal direction. Even when the surface resin of the resin-laminated steel plate burns by fire spread or the like during a fire, since a heat of the metal plate or its radiant heat is interrupted by the rock wool- formed plate affixed to its rear surface, the roof board can avoid becoming so high temperature that it catches fire.
