BASE ISOLATION STRUCTURE OF PILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage on the pile head of a pile by horizontal force by providing friction material on the lower face of an upper structure to abut the head part of the pile thereto, and projecting a horizontal force resistant member on the lower face of upper structural material to be buried in ground. SOLUTION: After a pipe body 3 constituted of a cylindrical body is driven to excavate and discharge soil and sand of the inside of the pipe body 3, a pile is penetrated in the inside to be driven. A friction material 6 is provided on the lower face of the foundation plate 5 of an upper structure, and the head part of the pile 2 is abutted thereto. Thereby vertical load from the upper structure 1 is supported on the pile 2 abutted on the friction material 6. The surface processing of the pile 2 and the friction material 6 is executed at need so that horizontal force from the upper structure 1 is distributed on the pipe body 3 and the pile 2. Thereby the horizontal force of dynamic friction force or above does not act on the head part of the pile, breakage on the pile head is prevented, and damage for the upper structure can be prevented.
