Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imexpensive charging device for foaming preventive which safely executes the charging operation more effectively than the conventional method. SOLUTION: This charging device is provided with a hopper 1 for storing the granular and powdery slag foaming preventive for killing the foaming of slag, a feeder 2 arranged at the lower end of the hopper and discharging the pressure while adjusting, a cylindrical body 3 for temporarily holding the discharged preventive, a damper 4 for closing the lower end of the cylindrical body so as to be freely openable/closable, an opening/closing means 5, 6 for instantaneously opening/closing the damper and a passage 7 for dropping the preventive in the cylindrical body without stopping, to the slag surface in a vessel.
