THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic elastomer composition which can give a corner material excellent in fusion to a thermoplastic elastomer extrudate and in scratch resistance and resistance to peeling due to flexing by compounding a crosslinked thermoplastic elastomer with a styrenic thermoplastic elastomer and an organosiloxane in a specified ratio. SOLUTION: This composition contains (A) 65-98.9 wt.% completely or partially crosslinked thermoplastic elastomer, (B) 1-30 wt.% styrenic thermoplastic elastomer, and (C) 0.1-5 wt.% organosiloxane, the sum being 100 wt.%. If necessary, the composition may further contain (D) 1-35 wt.% olefinic copolymer rubber and (E) 1-20 wt.% polyolefin resin; in this case, the upper limit of the content of ingredient A is decreased by 1 wt.% per each of ingredients D and E. If necessary, the composition of 100 pts.wt. may be compounded with (F) at most 5 pts.wt. slip agent.
