Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of an abnormal reaction by the presence of moisture in a distillation system or corrosion of equipment in producing vinyl chloride by thermal decomposition of ethane dichloride. SOLUTION: This method for producing vinyl chloride comprises distilling a mixture composed mainly of hydrogen chloride, vinyl chloride and ethane dichlorided recovered from a thermally decomposed mixture in a HCl tower 2 to distill hydrogen chloride from a top of the tower and to flow out a solution composed mainly of ethane dichloride and vinyl chloride from a bottom of the tower, distilling the resultant solution in a VCM tower 3, distilling out vinyl chloride from a top of the tower, further distilling the vinyl chloride in a dehydro chlorination tower 4, distilling out vinyl chloride containing hydrogen chloride from a top of the tower, circulating to the HCl tower 2 and flowing out purified vinyl chloride from a bottom of the tower to obtain a product. In this case, the dehydro chlorination tower is operated at a high pressure of >=6 kg/cm2G. |
