LIQUID COMPOSITION FOR ORAL CAVITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid composition for an oral cavity, capable of solubilizing a hardly water-soluble perfume component without increasing the amount of a surfactant, although being a low alcoholic composition and having low irritation, providing an excellent palatability, and further providing a mild actual use feeling. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by formulating (d) 0.1-3 wt.% polyvinylpyrrolidone with a liquid composition for an oral cavity, comprising (a) 2-20 wt.% xylitol, (b) 0.001-0.3 wt.% hardly water-soluble perfume component, and (c) 0.1-8 wt.% ethanol. Because the composition is obtained by compounding the polyvinylpyrrolidone of a water-soluble high-molecular material with the liquid composition for the oral cavity, containing the xylitol of a natural sweetening agent and an anti-dental caries component, compounded therewith, the unpleasantness of the substrate is suppressed, the stimulation to the mucosa is reduced by the perfume component, and a mild use feeling is provided. The liquid composition for the oral cavity is important in the cleaning of the interior of the oral cavity of a child weak in the stimulation to the mucosa, and the adjustments of the condition.
