COLLAPSIBLE GUIDE AND PAPER MONEY STORAGE BOX USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a size of a paper money storage box by arranging a cam clamped between two arm parts of a torsion coil spring, whose coil part is fitted in a spring post below a rotation fulcrum for a collapsible guide, and shaped into a shape opening/closing the torsion coil spring according to the rotation of the collapsible guide. SOLUTION: A temporarily holding plate 6 is moved in the A direction from the inside of a paper money storage box by means of a carrier 11 so that a projection 10a abuts to a collapsible guide in the vertical position, and according to the following movement, the collapsible guide 1 is overturned around fulcrum 2. Because of the rotation of a cam 3, in an arm part 4b of a torsion coil spring 4, a contact position is shifted from the side face of the cam 3 to its apex so that the arm part 4b is pressedly spread and twisted the coil part 4a in a winding direction. If the projection 10a exceeds the collapsible guide 1 because of following movement, the collapsible guide 1 is returned to the vertical position because of the force stored by twisting the coil part 4a in the torsion coil spring 4 in the winding direction and the cam 3 pressing force due to deflection of the arm part 4b or the like. In this way, a space for the coil spring 4 can be reduced.
