SOLUTION: A decorative material 11 for building is composed of a base layer 12, a main material layer 13 formed on the base layer 12, a decorative layer 14 formed on the main material layer 13, and a protective clear layer 16 formed to coat the decorative layer 14. The main material layer 13 comprises a skin type coating material and is formed to have an uneven surface. The decorative layer 14 contains a crystal element material such as a pearl coating. In this way, a crystal pattern can be developed by the reflection or transmission interference of light.
