FIRE TRUCK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire truck allowing easy and speedy attaching/detaching of a basket to a boom. SOLUTION: A first joint pipe 141 connected to a boom side pipe 43 linked to a boom supported by the body of this fire truck is concentric with and opposite to a second joint pipe 142 connected to a basket side pipe 47 linked to a basket attached to the boom, with a gap in between. A third joint pipe 143 is engaged in the gap between the first joint pipe 141 and the second joint pipe 142 to cover the gap. The third joint pipe 143 can be moved to the position where the gap is exposed from the first joint pipe 141 and the second joint pipe 142 by releasing the connection of the connecting members with at least either the first joint pipe 141 or the second joint pipe 142. The basket is detached from the boom because of the displacement of the boom from the basket in the axial direction of each joint pipe above or below the basket. The gap between the first joint pipe 141 and the second joint pipe 142 is determined to allow the displacement of the boom for detaching the basket.
