REMOTE CONTROL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control electrical equipment from an external telephone inexpensively in a compact configuration by receiving a selective radio call signal using a control part with a selective call receiver and changing an electric signal being supplied to an electric signal supply contact based on the signal. SOLUTION: A remote control device 10 includes an electric signal supply contact 12, an electric signal supply part 14, and a control part 16 with a selective call receiver. The electric signal supply contact 12 includes at least one signal terminal and is connected to an external control terminal being provided at electrical equipment to be controlled remotely. Then, the electric signal supply part 14 is connected to the electric signal supply contact 12, and a control signal is supplied to the electric equipment via the electric signal supply contact 12 from it. Also, the control part 16 with a selective call receiver is connected to the electric signal supply part 14, so that a control signal that is the output of the electric supply part 14 can be changed based on a selective radio call signal being received from an antenna.
