COMPACT AIR CONDITIONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure and to realize a size reduction by providing a flat evaporator extended over an entire width and an entire height of a front surface of an air condition, providing a U-shaped condenser over a rear outside and rear front side of both sides of the conditioner, and separating the both with a heat insulated partition wall. SOLUTION: An inside (room side) cabinet 10 having a front surface grill 11, an outside (outdoor side) top cover 12, and a protective grill 13 are installed on a base 14. A housing is formed therein, and a flat evaporator 25, a shroud 26, an evaporator fan 20, an orifice plate 24, a partition wall 22, a compressor 31, an orifice plate 29 and a condenser fan 27 are sequentially arranged in the housing in such a manner that the fans 20, 27 are rotated by a common motor 21. Both sides of the plate 29 are coupled to a U-shaped condenser 30 extended rear outside and rear front side of both sides of the air conditioner. The cover 12 covers the compressor 31 and is arranged on the top of the condenser 30.
