Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve driving device which can detect the abnormality of a current supply passage even though a capacitor for supplying peak current to the solenoid coil of a solenoid valve is so formed that it is connected to the current supply passage to the solenoid coil only when the solenoid valve is started to be opened and driven. SOLUTION: In this device 1 equipped with a driving transistor 4 arranged in tandem in a current supply passage to the solenoid coil EB of a fuel injection valve, circuits 2, 3, 12, R1, D1 charging a capacitor 5 by increasing battery voltage and a switch 6 connecting/disconnecting the capacitor 5 to/from the current supply passage and opening the fuel injection valve at a high speed by switching on the switch 6 and flowing the discharge current of the capacitor 5 to the solenoid coil EB when the transistor 4 is switched on and energization to the solenoid coil EB is started, it is judged that the current supply passage is short-circuited to some electric potential in the case that time from a period that the transistor 4 and switch 6 are switched on till a period that the charging voltage of the capacitor 5 is lowered to set voltage is shorter than a predetermined set time. |
