Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an independent stencil even at the long time heat generation of a thermal head or at high-speed process by a method wherein the length in the main scanning direction of a heat generating body is specified so as to be longer than that in a sub-scanning direction. SOLUTION: A so-called lengthwisely long head, in which the length A in the main scanning direction of a heat generating body 50 constituting a head 5 is longer than the length B in the sub scanning direction of the same, is employed. The relation of B/Pb=α×A/Pb (provided 1>α>=0.3) is specified when the dot pitch in the main scanning direction is shown by Pa and the dot pitch in the sub-scanning direction is shown by Pb. As a result, the stencil, applied on an original paper by the heat generating body 50 through an electrode 52 is effected under a condition that a non-processed part is provided between the dot type stencils neighbored mutually in the sub scanning direction and the stencil is not continuous in the sub scanning direction. Further, the length B is shortened whereby a thermal energy per unit area, which is provided to the film A of the base paper, is reduced and the energy is not continued in the main scanning direction when a conventional dot pitch Pa and the length A in the main scanning direction are maintained. |
