Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sustained release microcapsule which comprises a core substance enclosed in a porous polymer shell film having strengths enough to protect the core substance by specifying the average thickness and average micropore size of the polymer shell film. SOLUTION: The shell film enclosing the core substance, e.g. an ester, comprises an org, polymer substance, e.g. a polyamide, and has an average thickness of 1-80 μm, pref. 5-50 μm, and an average micropore size of 1-100 μm, pref. 2-80 μm. Thus, the capsule strength is high enough and the core substance can be slowly released over a long time without leaking. The thickness of the shell film can be adjusted by adjusting the amts. of oil-soluble and water- soluble monomers reactive with the film. The micropore size can be controlled, e.g. by adjusting the method for adding a reaction accelerator in forming a polyamide film.
