STRETCHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden of an operator by reducing operation torque during raising a stretcher from a lowest end position to a prescribed height position by simple constitution. SOLUTION: A spring mechanism 30 is provided for a base plate. A base mechanism 30 is provided with a cylindrical fixed case 32 to be fixed to a base frame, a cylindrical movable case 32 which is slidable by a prescribed distance with respect to the case 31 and provided with a pressurizing part 32c which can be abutted onto the lower end part 7b of an X-shaped link at its tip, and a compression coil spring 34 which is housed in the case 31 and the case 32 and adds spring elasticity to the movable case 32 so that the part 32c may pressurize the part 7b of the X-shaped link. While an upper frame is raised from the lowest end position to the prescribed height position, the part 32c adds auxiliary force raising the upper frame to the part 7b of the X-shaped link by the spring elasticity of the spring 34.
