Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an displeasing image from being outputted, when a developed still photo film is not set to a photographing area or in other cases and to visually confirm whether or not the film is set from a displayed image. SOLUTION: A film detection section 326 of the film image input device 100 detects whether or not a film 124 is set to a photographing area of a photographing lens 114, an image signal outputted from an image signal processing circuit 117 is outputted on a video monitor 119, via a switching section 329 when the film 124 is set, and an image signal stored in a setting image memory 328 is outputted on the video monitor 119 via the switching section 329, when the film 124 is not set. Thus, whether or not the film 124 is set is visually confirmed from the display image on the video monitor 119.
