COMMUTATION TICKET ISSUING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operation rate by issuing not a commutation ticket which is printed with a 1st and a 2nd color, but a commutation ticket which is printed with only the 1st color when it is decided that a 2nd printing means is unable to operate. SOLUTION: The CPU 70 of a ticket issue part 24 detects conveyance abnormality such as a jam in each conveyance path according to the detection signal from a conveyance detection sensor and also detects abnormality of respective print parts 50, 51, and 65 with the detection outputs of bit absence detection parts 50c, 51c, and 65b and the detection outputs from ribbon deviation detection parts 50d and 51d, makes a judgement by using a function memory 71 which can be continued corresponding to the detection result, and outputs the judgement result to a CPU 20. For example, when the CPU 70 judges that red can not be printed owing to the abnormality in the red print part 51, it is judged that an issuing function for a commutation ticket of only black and an issuing function for a card, etc., can operate continuously by using the memory 71 and the judgement result is outputted to the CPU 20. The CPU 20 issues a commutation ticket using only black.
