Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital data transfer device capable of increasing the number of loads and elongating the total extension of a bus. SOLUTION: Since a host bridge 2 and add-in cards 4-1 and 4-2 are connected by an optical bus 10 composed of optical fibers 11-14, photoconnector 15, an optical multiplexer/damultiplexer 16 and an electric/optic transducing part 17, without extending any PCI-PCI bridge like the case of bus based on electric wiring, the total extension of the bus can be elongated.
