Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film cartridge that the handleability of an exposed photographic film is made easy, a fear for damaging and staining the film can be eliminated, and which can records the various kinds of information related to the photographic film. SOLUTION: The film cartridge 6 can take up the exposed long photographic film 2 inside a cartridge main body having a single spool 8, so that the cartridge 6 is convenient to house and keep the film 2; and the film 2 is not exposed outside the cartridge, so that the fear for damaging and spoiling the film 2 is eliminated, and the film 2 can be kept well. Besides, an IC memory is attached to the cartridge 6, and the magnetic recording layer is applied on the film 2, so that the various kinds of information related to the film 2 can be recorded on the IC memory and the magnetic recording layer.
