Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain a polymer by making olefin contact with a catalyst containing a transition metal compound, a granular solid material having a surface active group, a bulky hydroxy group-containing hydrocarbon compound and aluminoxane. SOLUTION: A catalyst includes a transition metal compound represented by the formula: (C5R'5)MQ3 (R1 is hydrogen, a 1-8C alkyl or aryl; M is transition metal belonging to IVB group of the periodical table; Q is a halogen, a 2-20C alkoxide, a 1-20C amide, a 1-20C carboxylate or a 1-20C carbamate), a granular solid material (B) having a surface active group of 0.006-3 mmol/g determined by means of diethylalumimum chloride titration, a bulky hydroxy group- containing hydrocarbon (C) represented by the formula: (C6R25)OH (R2 is H, a halogen, 1-8C alkyl or aryl) or the formula: R3H [R3 is a 4-25C tertiary alkoxy group, (R4)3SiO-, a thiolate portion of 4-25C; and R4 is a 1-8C alkyl] and aluminoxane (D). A polymer is obtained by making an olefin contact with the catalyst. |
