Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decontaminate water or soil in a brief time without by-production of deleterious materials by inoculating a specific microorganism into water or soil polluted by tetrachloroethylene and by converting it into trichloroethylene under an anaerobic condition. SOLUTION: The method of this invention is to inoculate and mix a microbial group PCE-KS-001(FERM P-16,986) consisting of long bacillus, short bacillus and coccobacillus and capable of dechlorinating tetrachloroethylene anaerobically to convert it into trichloroethylene, as the first microorganism, into water or soil polluted by tetrachloroethylene, and to convert tetrachloroethylene included in water or soil into trichloroethylene anaerobically. Further, the method is to aerobically decompose trichloroethylene included water or soil by a microorganism belonging to Ralstonia eutropha, as the second microorganism. Thus, water or soil polluted by difficultly decomposable tetrachloroethylene is decontaminated in a brief time without by-production of deleterious materials. |
