Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply reduce empty space and to make this amplifier small-sized and inexpensive by positioning the input line of a 1st amplifier element and the output line of a 2nd amplifier element in empty space that occurs in a package, when amplifier elements on plural stages are connected serially. SOLUTION: Amplifier elements 14b and 15b are arranged so as to be perpendicular to an input terminal 11 of a package and an amplifier element 16b which are to become the last stage, the amplifier elements 14b and 15b are also arranged mutually in the same direction, and an output matching circuit 14c and an input matching circuit 15a are arranged, so as to be connected at the same position. Thus, the circuits 14c and 15a turn out to be located in empty space that occurs in the package, when amplifier circuits 14 to 16 are serially connected. If these matching circuits 14c and 15a are made one chip as a matching circuit chip 62, the empty space can be utilized effectively, and the empty space within the effective area of the package can be reduced sharply.
