BULKHEAD FORMING METHOD AND ITS DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a bulkhead in a perfect form on a glass board by performing uniform transferring and molding, even if it is a large area. SOLUTION: This is a method for forming a bulkhead on a glass board 1a for a plasma display panel, includes a shape transformation process for transforming one of a flat-shaped die member, having a die shape engaging with the bulkhead and a glass board having a flat-shape into a curve surface shape, a curve surface adhesion process that transforms the other un-transformed side for the transformed side and simultaneously adheres the other un- transformed side to the periphery from the central portion, and a curve surface break-away process, where the other side transformed and adhered in a curve surface shape from the earlier transformed side is returned into a planar shape, and at the same time the other side is separated from the periphery to the central portion.
