MANUFACTURE OF COAXIAL FLAT CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a coaxial flat cable using a coaxial cable in which an insulation sheath can be formed by pressure extrusion without deteriorating an arrangement property of a laterally wound shield layer. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method for a coaxial flat cable comprises a process of preparing inner conductors, a process of a coating the conductors with dielectric, a process of forming an insulation tape having a heat-fusing resin layer on at least one surface, a process of winding the insulation tape around the dielectric, a process of winding conductor element wires around the insulation tape, a process of forming a laterally wound shield layer by applying heat treatment, a pressure extrusion process to obtain a coaxial cable 9 by forming an insulation sheath 8 around the laterally wound shield layer, a process of disposing plurality of the coaxial cables 9, and a process of partly or wholly fusing the insulation sheath 8 between the adjacent coaxial cables disposed in parallel in the longitudinal direction.
