Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which such defect can be prevented that scanning wires and holding capacity wires are short-circuited by defect of a pattern as in a conventional liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a display section having pixels formed respectively at plural regions sectioned by plural scanning wires 2 and plural signal wires 1 arranged so as to intersect this scanning wires 2, and a holding capacity wires 3 extending over plural regions along the scanning wires 2 and formed by the same process as the scanning wires 2, the holding capacity wires 3 are arranged so that two holding capacity wires 3 are extended in each region, while the two holding capacity wires 3 are constituted so as to be connected each other in a part of a region, when the scanning wire 2 and the holding capacity wire 3 is short-circuited under the signal wire 1, restoration is performed by cutting the holding capacity wire 3 at tooth sides of a short circuit part.
