PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio device that effectively utilizes a built-in clock. SOLUTION: An audio device 1 is provided with an operation part 4 where a user gives a desired instruction, a built-in clock 8, a storage part 7 where a plurality of display data is stored, and a display part 5 where display operation is made under the control of a controller 2. The controller 2 reads the display data in the storage part 7 according to the clocking data being generated by the built-in clock 8 for supplying to the display part 5, thus displaying various information such as calendar information response message information to the user, and operation information for indicating the operation status of the audio device 1 in various forms using still and moving pictures.
