Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the opened/closed position of a window glass without influence of the change of the fully closed position of the window glass caused by the variation of the motor power when detecting the opened/closed position of the window glass, by counting the number of pulse signals generating in accordance with the normal or reverse revolution of a driving motor for an opening/closing mechanism of the window glass, to the addition or subtractive direction by a counter, after the counter has been set to show an initial figure when the window glass has become fully close. SOLUTION: In a power window device, the characteristic of an initial set value of a counter corresponding to the battery potential in the fully closed condition of a window glass is set in advance in a table. Then, a battery voltage is detected when the window glass is fully closed and an initial set value of the counter according to the detected battery voltage is read out of the table to preset the initial value in the counter.
