HEAT INSULATING PANEL AND ITS CONNECTING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the side end face of an heat insulating material including a fitting protrusion and a fitting recess at both side edges of a panel adjacent to an edge, where the fitting protrusion and the fitting recess are formed, and increase connecting strength between both side end face connecting pieces, while improving air-tightness and water-tightness at a recess/protrusion connection point by encircling the fitting protrusion and the fitting recess with a metal housing. SOLUTION: At both side edges of a panel adjacent to an edge, where a fitting protrusion 4 and a fitting recess 5 are formed, one metal housing 1 is bent in opposition to the side face of an heat insulating material 3 including the fitting protrusion 4 and the fitting recess 5 to form a side end face connecting pieces 9. A portion on the surface recess side of the side end face connecting member 9 on the surface recess 6 side is put in proximity to the side face of the heat insulating material 3 beyond the other side end face connecting member 9 to form a side recess 10. A portion on the cover member side of the side end face connecting member 9 on the cover member 8 side is flush with the other side end face connecting member 9 to form a side cover 11 to be inserted in the side recess 10.
