ROPE FOR EXTERIOR AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rope for exterior similar to a natural rope and suitable for the atmosphere of Japanese architecture or garden. SOLUTION: This rope 1 is obtained by covering a core fiber yarn 2 of polyethylene-made monofilament with external winding fiber yarns 3 of thermoplastic polypropylene-made multifilaments smaller in diameter than the core fiber yarn for obtaining a yarn 1a, by intertwisting two bundles of the thus obtained yarns 1a and 1a, and by heat-fusing the adjacent section 4 between the external winding fiber yarns 3 and 3 of the respective yarns 1a and 1a.
