Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-resistant container excellent in heat resistan, transparency, sanitary characteristics, etc., and capable of being used even as a container for medical supplies, foodstuffs, cosmetics or the like. SOLUTION: In a container having a layer comprising an ethylene-alpha olefin copolymer prepared by copolymerizing ethylene with a C3-20 α-olefin, the copolymer has such properties that (a) density is 0.920 to 0.960 g/cm3, (b) a melt flow rate is 0.1 to 10 g/10 minutes, (c) in a ratio of a weight-average molecular weight(Mw) to a number-average molecular weight (Mn), which is obtained by a GPC, Mw/Mn is 1.5 to 3, (d) a melting point measured by a DSC is one, (e) an ash content quantity is at most 0.02 wt.% at the time of complete carbonization at the temperature of 650 deg.C, and (f) an n-heptane extraction quantity is at most 0.2 wt.% at 50 deg.C.
