STRUCTURE OF METALLIC MOLD FOR CASTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of a metallic mold for casting, in which the metallic mold cost can be restrained by easily working the metallic mold. SOLUTION: An insert piece 30 is constituted with plural pieces 34-38 and the pieces 34-38 are integrated by piercing with a pin 40. At both end parts of the pin 40, the flat parts 41, 42 at the right and the left sides for preventing fall-out to a cavity side by abutting on a movable mold 22, is formed and the flat parts 41, 42 at the right and the left sides are abutted on the movable mold 22 and also, the base surface 39 of the insert piece 30 is abutted on the movable mold 45 to fix the insert piece 30. In this way, it is unnecessary to form a recessed part on the forming surface of the metallic mold for insert piece.
