SIDE GUTTER LID MADE OF PLASTIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side gutter lid made of plastics, that is light in weight for easy transportation, installation, and removal, for use in place of conventional heavy side gutter lids made of reinforced concrete in widespread use, inexpensive, durable, and capable of making effective use of waste plastic as the raw material therefor. SOLUTION: A thin-walled front face member 1 made of plastics, which constitutes the front part of a lid, and a thick-walled back face member 2 made of plastic, which constitutes the back part of the lid, are separately molded and designed to be integrally secured together by a securing member and to be freely separated from each other. A raw material more excellent in weather and impact resistance than the raw material of the thick-walled back face member is used for the thin-walled front face member and a predetermined gap is secured between the face members.
