Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal spraying material which solves problems in conventional technique and can form a thermal spraying coating film satisfying all characteristics and to provide a member with a coating film formed by thermally spraying the thermal spraying material. SOLUTION: This thermal spraying material consists of >=5 vol.% one or more double oxides consisting of (a) one or more of trivalent metallic elements Al, Ti, V, Cr, Fe, Co, Rh, In and rare earth elements (Sc, Y and lanthanoids) and (b) one or more of rare earth elements (Sc, Y and lanthanoids) different from (a) and the balance oxide of a metal other than the group Ia metals and/or oxide of Si. A thermal spraying coating film is formed from the thermal spraying material. The coating film having superior mechanical and chemical characteristics is obtd. with high thermal spraying efficiency.
