AIR BAG DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device capable of facilitating the assembly of a bag body with its cost made low. SOLUTION: Holding pawls 62 and 64 are intermittently formed along the side peripharal part of a roof panel 26 for an impact absorbing rib 42 located between an inner panel 34 and a garnish 36, and a bag body 30 in a folded shape is thereby supported by these holding pawls 62 and 64. The bag body 30 is mounted to the inner panel 34 together with the rib 42 in a state that the bag body is held by the holding pawls 62 and 54, since the bag body 30 is held by the holding pawls 62 and 64, slackening can thereby restrained, or prevented. In addition, since the bag body 30 is held by the holding pawls 62 and 64 after the bag body has been assembled, areas for the bag body to be fixed to the inner panel can thereby be lessened, and fastening members such as a bolt 54 and the like can thereby be also lessened in number.
