Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the generation of curling in secondary processing and to improve plane properties by specifying the orientation ratio between the surface and back of a biaxially oriented polyimide film, or additionally the angle difference in the orientation main axis of the surface and back of the film. SOLUTION: A biaxially oriented polyimide film is produced by a process in which a polyamide acid solution is extruded or applied continuously in the shape of a film on a rotating support, and the produced gel film is peeled off from the support and subjected to biaxial orientation, drying, and heat treatment. The orientation ratio between the surface and back of the film is made 1.3 or below, or the ratio is 1.3 or below and the difference of the orientation main axis directions of the surface and back of the film in 0-90 degree of the angle difference in the main axis directions is made 40 degree or below. The orientation ratio of the surface and back of the film is a calculated value which is obtained by a method in which the ATR spectra of the surface and back of the film are measured, and an orientation parameter for each surface is obtained by a prescribed formula. |
