Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ashtray capable of completely extinguishing a cigarette with minimum amount of water and compressing the butt to reduce the volume of waste. SOLUTION: A cigarette to be extinguished is compressed and pulled into an ashtray with a 1st roller 14. The cigarette passed through the 1st roller 14 is extinguished by wetting with a water-containing 2nd roller 24. The 2nd roller 24 is brought into contact with a water-feeding roller 44. The water- feeding roller 44 contains water supplied from a tray 13 and the water contained in the feeding roller is supplied to the 2nd roller 24 by bringing the feeding roller into contact with the 2nd roller 24.
