Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display video by using a wide screen television receiver operated by 2fH such as VGA(video graphics adapter) or SVGA(super VGA). SOLUTION: VGA or SVGA board 84 is programmed by a computer 80 so that RGB video signals indicating video having scanning lines of less number than the number of regular horizontal scanning lines of normal VGA or SVGA having a display aspect ratio of format of 4:3 are generated in order to generate video having an aspect ratio for displaying a wide format, and the polarity and the phase are converted as necessary so that each synchronizing signal of RGB video signals can be recognized by a processing circuit 52 of a wide screen television receiver.
