Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the fracture strength of a microcapsule by a method wherein the film body of a wall film of the microcapsule is composed of a transglutaminase denatured protein and at least one of a water-soluble polymer compound, water-insoluble particle, and a water-hardly-soluble particle is mixed in the film body, as a component. SOLUTION: For manufacturing a microcapsule which can be suitably used in various fields such as medicines and detergent, after a microcapsule having a wall film mainly composed of a native protein is prepared, the microcapsule is dipped in an aqueous solution containing a transglutaminase and electrolyte to effect a transglutaminase denaturing of the protein. The wall film of the microcapsule contains one or more kinds of wall film modifying agents selected from the group consisting of a water-soluble polymer compound, a water- insoluble particle, and a water-hardly-soluble particle, and as the water-soluble polymer compound, for example, agar, starch, and as the water-insoluble particle and water-hardly-soluble particle, for example, silicic acid anhydride, granite porphyry are cited.
