POSITION INFORMATION NOTIFICATION SYSTEM FOR PHS RADIO MOBILE STATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high speed position information notification without call connection by optionally defining a call service kind of an incoming call message for position detection, judging it to be a position information demand and notifying a radio state by using an existing radio management state notification message. SOLUTION: A mobile station 101 interprets a position information incoming call message from a base station 111, holds the incoming call type in an incoming call type holding part and, at the same time, measures the signal strength of eight peripheral base stations at the time of demanding position information incoming call and stores a base station ID and signal strength information. Then, a link channel is established between the mobile station 101 and the base station 111. The mobile station 101 uses a radio management state notification message, notifies a position information server 131 of the held base station ID and the signal strength through the base station 111 and a network 121, specifies a position, transmits it to the mobile station as a disconnection message again through the network 121 and the base station 111 and performs control sequence for disconnection.
