METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING MULTIPLEX STREAM OF VIDEO FRAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain multiplex program compression technique for optimizing video quality in a whole system by dynamically adapting the encoding of a multiplex stream in a video frame based on the correlative complex degree of the video frame constituting the multiplex stream of the video frame. SOLUTION: Respective encoders 210 generates statistics concerning a picture which is just encoded. The statistics are made to be an input parameter to a connection rate control algorithm 230 and the algorithm 230 dynamically calculates the bit rate of each encoder 210. The bit rate of each encoder 210 is decoded based on the correlative complex degree of programs (source 1-source n) and the occurrence of scene change in the corresponding program. Each encoder 210 generates an interchangeable bit stream in MPEG-2 standard. Each encoder 210 changes the bit rate in a GOP boundary or scene change in accordance with a connection rate controller 230.
