MIB MODULE CHANGE METHOD, STORAGE MEDIUM THEREFOR, DEVICE PROVIDED WITH STORAGE MEDIUM AND NETWORK RESOURCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for freely rewriting the reception information of a network manager within the range of a standard network protocol. SOLUTION: A variable is inserted to one of the fixed fields defined beforehand of an MIB module 28 and first paths 43 and 44 for dynamically setting a reference or the like to a script are supplied. The script reference is substituted for the variable inserted to the fixed field. The referred script defines a user option for operating a server and the like 14 and 30 and a value relating to this network resource is detected. Further, a second path to the script reference is supplied, inquiries 43 and 44 on the second path activate a script operation, an inquired value is supplied and the value is distributed 34 and 36 to an inquired network manager 12.
