COOLING AND HEATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably detect and display defective circulation of a refrigerant. SOLUTION: A cooling and heating device comprises a cycle 1 on the heat source side; a cycle 16 on the utilization side to store an atmospheric type regulation tank 15; and a second cycle 17 on the utilization side to convey a refrigerant in the regulation tank 15 to an indoor unit 6 arranged in a room and return it to the regulation tank 15. A temperature detecting means 31 to detect a refrigerant temperature right after heat-exchange with the cycle 1 is arranged at the cycle 16 on the utilization side, and a temperature detecting means 32 to detect the temperature of a conveying refrigerant is arranged in the indoor unit 6. When a given refrigerant temperature is not detected even after a lapse of a specified time starting from a time after the starting of the temperature detecting means 31, abnormality of the cycle 16 on the utilization side is displayed by a control means 33. When a difference exceeding a given value is produced in succession between the detecting temperatures of the temperature detecting means 31 and the temperature detecting means 32 during a time exceeding a specified time, abnormality of the cycle 17 on the utilization side is displayed.
