AIR CIRCULATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air circulation device that quickly heats space where a person exists, and at the same time saves heating energy when air-conditioning equipment whose indoor unit is mounted onto (on rear) a ceiling starts heating operation. SOLUTION: An air circulation device is provided with an air duct 8 that has openings 6 and 7 near floor 5 and a ceiling 4, and an air circulation fan 9 that is accommodated in an opening part at a ceiling side in the duct 8, sucks air from the opening 6, and blows off the air from the opening 7 at the ceiling side. Furthermore, the device has a control means, where the control means maximizes the air volume of the air circulation fan 9 for a specific amount of time when starting the heating operation of the air-conditioning equipment or at the initial stage of operation, and reduces the air volume after the specific time (when the temperature of space in a room where a person exists increases to an appropriate one).
