Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a double oriented silicon steel sheet capable of stably obtaining a texture in which the 100} face parallel to the sheet face and the axis in the width direction and the rolling direction are integrated and moreover, small in the dispersion of magnetic properties in the width direction of rolling. SOLUTION: At the time of finally annealing a base material steel sheet having a chemical compsn. satisfying the relations of by weight, 0.02 to 0.20% C, 2.4 to 4.0% Si, 0.2 to 2.0% Mn and 0.09 to 0.20% Ctotal and performed to intermediate-annealing in an α+γ two phase region in the process of cold rolling, the base material steel sheet is held between a substance promoting decarburizing and/or a substance promoting decarburizing and demangaizing, is soaked and held in the α+γ two phase region under a reduced pressure or in a vacuum and is tight-coil-annealed or laminate-annealed. Provided that, Ctotal=C+Ceq and Ceq=0.1×(3.2-Si)-0.1×(1.0-Mn). The process annealing is executed preferably at >=5 deg.C/sec temp. rising rate.
