MOLDING METHOD FOR SHOETREE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a shoe according to a foot with extroverted great toe by injecting a casting molding material into a worn-out and deformed old shoe and measuring dimension and shape of a solidified foot shape model. SOLUTION: A casting molding material 2 such as plaster dissolved in water is injected into an old shoe 1 deformed according to the shape of a foot of a customer ordering a shoe ordered and a foot shape model 3 made by solidifying the casting molding material 2 is manufactured. Next, the dimension and shape of the foot shape model 3 is automatically and precisely measured by a non-contact type three-dimensional measuring machine for scanning laser light on the surface of the foot shape model 3 and obtaining a three-dimensional coordinate, the measured data is analyzed by a computer and this data is converted into shoetree CAD data coinciding with the foot type model 3 by data conversion software. Shoetree CAD data to which a partial correction to impart tightening and clearance is added is converted into NC data performing a numerical control for an NC machine tool according to the data, the NC data is inputted in the NC machine tool, wood and metal to be materials for shoetree are cut and the shoetree is automatically molded.
