LEVEL CONTROL CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a chip area while reducing the deterioration of precision. SOLUTION: A level control circuit is provided with a digital attenuator circuit 12 to which digital audio data DDA is supplied and a D/A converter circuit 13 for D/A-converting the output of the circuit 12 and outputting an analog audio signal SAA. An analog attenuator circuit 14 to which the output of the circuit 13 is supplied and a low-pass filter 15 to which the output of the circuit 14 is supplied and which outputs the original analog audio signal are also arranged in the level control circuit. An attenuating quantity in the digital attenuator circuit 12 and that in the analog attenuator circuit 14 are controlled so that the SAA level of the analog audio signal outputted from the low-pass filter 15 are controlled.
