Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller cutter, in which falling of cutting-edge tips can be prevented by inhibiting abrasion of a cutting edge section on the outer circumference of a cutter body and a lifetime can be lengthened by suppressing deterioration of excavation efficiency. SOLUTION: In the roller cutter, in which a cutter body 12, in which a cutting edge section 18 is installed on an outer circumference, is mounted rotatably on a supporting shaft 11 centering around the central axis of the cutter body 12, recessed grooves 19 crossing the cutting edge section 18 along a virtual plane P containing the above-mentioned central axis towards the above- mentioned central axis direction are formed to the cutting edge section 18 of the cutter body 12 at intervals in the circumferential direction. Tabular cutting-edge tips 20 are set up into the recessed grooves 19 by brazing while the side faces 20a of the cutting-edge tips 20 are exposed onto the side faces 18a of the cutting edge section 18.
