SPRAY-COATING REFRACTORY CEMENT FEEDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To feed cement to a hopper without using bagged cement by transporting a cement container made of cloth, in a lifted state by a self- advancing motor-driven lifter to hold the cement container directly above the hopper. SOLUTION: This spray-coating refractory cement feeder 1 feeds cement from a container 10 to a hopper 2, mixes and agitates the cement and feeds the cement to a slurry tank 4 through a conveying line 5, a suction device 11 and a hose 12 to produce slurry. The container 10 is formed of a cloth bag for 1 ton of storing cement. A self-advancing motor-driven lifter 3 has a vertically extensible mast erected on a U-shape frame body, self-advances hanging the container 10 by a hook member 25 provided at the tip of a horizontally extended fork member 24, and positions the container 10 directly above the hopper 2. The bottom part of the container 10 is cut open in cross shape with a cutter knife or the like to easily feed the cement to the hopper 2, and the forty bags of cement can be handled at one time.
