Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger detecting system to accurately decide the seating state of a passenger seating on a seat without being influenced by the seating attitude of the passenger so much and properly control an air bag device based on a decision result. SOLUTION: This passenger detecting system comprises a bag body 11 arranged at a seat part on which a pressure force is exerted in relation to seating of a passenger; a pressure sensor 16 communicating with a bag body and detecting a pressure force exerted on filling gas of a bag body; a control circuit 18 to decide the seating state of the passenger on the seat based on an output signal from the pressure sensor; and an air bag device 20 to have a function to set the air bag to a given operation mode based on the deciding result of the control circuit.
