PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig for holding a purifying material unit, by which a purifying material case can be surely and easily installed in the corner part of various kinds of bathtubs, and which is low in cost. SOLUTION: This holding jig 7 is a jig for holding a purifying material unit 30 of a bathtub water circulating filter in which bathtub water is drawn and passed through the purifying material unit 30 incorporating purifying material 6 to filter it before returning filtrate to the bathtub, and it is provided with a jig body part 8 for freely attachably and detachably holding the case 31 of the purifying material unit 30 and a fixed part 13 fitted to the upper end of the jig body part 8 by a hinge 12 so that its angle to the jig body part 8 can be adjusted and having a sucking disc 14 attachably and detachably fixed to an upper edge 15a of the bathtub 15. Since the sucking disc 14 of the fixed part 13 is stuck to the upper end edge 15a of the bathtub 15 and an angle between the jig body part 8 and the fixed part 13 is variable according to the inclined angle of an inner wall surface 15b of the bathtub 15, the purifying material unit 30 can be arranged in bathtub water.
